The short version
This website sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for “essential” purposes either. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to ask you to consent to.
What that means in practice
- No analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any other measurement tool. We do not know how many people visit this site, where they came from, or what they clicked.
- No advertising or tracking pixels. There is no Meta Pixel, no TikTok pixel, no Google Ads tag, no LinkedIn Insight tag.
- No embedded third-party content. No YouTube or Vimeo players, no social media widgets, no chat bubbles, no maps. The Nunito typeface is served from this site’s own domain rather than from Google Fonts, so displaying this page sends nothing to Google.
- No local storage. The site stores nothing in your browser — no cookies, no
localStorage, nosessionStorage, no IndexedDB. - No session or login. There is nothing on this site to log in to.
The one request this site makes
When — and only when — you type your email address and press Join the waitlist, your browser sends that address to our database provider, Supabase, so we can record it. Nothing is sent before you press the button.
Like every request on the internet, that one carries your IP address to Supabase’s servers, where it may appear in their operational logs. We do not store your IP address ourselves, we cannot read those logs, and we do not link them to anything.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, serves the pages you are reading and keeps standard server logs of requests. That is ordinary web hosting rather than tracking: those logs are not cookies, are not used to profile you, and are not available to us as a list of visitors.
Do you need to consent to anything?
No. Rules such as the EU’s ePrivacy Directive and the UK’s PECR require your consent before a site stores or reads information on your device for non-essential purposes. This site does not store or read anything on your device, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss.
Handing us your email address is a separate matter, and that is a choice you make deliberately by filling in the form. What we do with it is described in our Privacy Policy.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or anything that stores data in your browser, we will update this page before turning it on, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it. We would rather lose the measurement than quietly start tracking people who read this page and believed it.
